Sometimes something happens inside an organization that shifts everything. It could be a loss, a medical event, a workplace incident, a sudden transition, or a situation that affects the emotional stability of a team. People may still be showing up and doing their jobs, but the tone changes. Reactions are stronger. Communication becomes strained. There’s uncertainty about how to move forward.

This work is designed to help organizations respond in those moments, when something has already happened and the impact is still present.

Our Crisis & Trauma Support Focus

The focus with this work is on helping individuals and teams process what’s happened and stabilize in a way that feels manageable. This is not a generalized training or a one-size-fits-all response. In each engagement we focus on how the proceeding or precipitating event is actually affecting people emotionally, physically, and in how they are interacting with each other at work.

Depending on the situation, this may include:

Mindfulness and grounding techniques may be incorporated, drawing from Jennifer’s formal training in mindfulness and meditation. These are used in practical ways to support grieving, emotional regulation, and communication among teams. These tools can be used throughout the workday to maintain focus and productivity during difficult times.

How It Works

Support can be structured as individual sessions, small group work, or targeted team support, depending on what is needed. We begin with a conversation to understand what has happened, how it is affecting your team, and what level of support is appropriate.

From there, we determine the best approach whether that’s a one-time intervention, short-term support, or a more extended process. Sessions can be held in person or virtually, depending on timing and logistics.

When This Is A Good Fit For Your Organization

In these situations, it can be difficult to know what kind of support is appropriate. This is where this work can help.
